Introduction
Ugborough P3 Walking Group is an informal group that was formed some years ago to introduce people to our parish footpaths and to help maintain them in a safe and accessible condition.
The group meets in Ugborough square at 10:45 a.m. on the first Sunday of every month with the exception of January, and on Boxing Day. It has become something of a social occasion and enables villagers and visitors to indulge in gentle exercise and get to know each other.
We tend to cover about 4 miles, and normally use one of the several round trip routes that start and finish in the village and afford the walkers the opportunity to visit the Anchor Inn and enjoy a well earned beverage and bar meal.
Information is available from Merryl Docker (Tel: 01752 893651), or Tom Holway (Tel: 01752 893114) who would also like to hear from land owners and walkers who have any problems with any of the parish footpaths.
